On October 8 MSU President Dr. Supachai Samappito presided over the opening ceremony of the Pharmacy University sports competition in the Mahasarakham University gymnasium building. Hosted by Mahasarakham University this year, the goodwill games involved participants from the Faculties of Pharmacy from six universities including Ubon Ratchathani and Khon Kaen.
The three days of events are to strengthen ties between pharmacy students from across the country. It also presents an opportunity to publicise the professional and ethical benefits of the pharmaceutical profession.
Students participated in a variety of competitive events including football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and cheerleading.
The games are held yearly on a rotational basis and give the students and staff participating in the Pharmacy University Games a great opportunity to unwind after examinations and to socialise with their fellow future pharmacists.
