MSU MEDICAL STUDENTS TO BE TRAINED AT NEW MEDICAL CENTER




On October 21 the Dean of MSU Faculty of Medicine Professor  Dr. Reon Somana and excecutives of Mahasarakham Hospital co-signed a mutual cooperation agreement for medical student training.

Mahasarakham Hospital has recently begun construction of a one hundred million baht Medical Center to service the medical need s of people in Maha Sarakham and surrounding provinces. The Medical Center is due for completion in 2013.

The cooperation agreement will see MSU medical students trained under expert physician supervision in clinical medicine once the new Medical Center is opened. Year six medical students will continue to practice at Mahasarakham Hospital in programs already in place.

Mahasarakham Hospital and MSU Faculty of Medicine are proud to be working together to produce future doctors and medical staff capable of improving the health and quality of life of people in the rural areas of north east Thailand.
